Voluntary Action Center is committed to providing vital nutrition and transit services to those who need it most in our community. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, VAC has served 71,000 hot, home-delivered meals to seniors and persons with disabilities through our Meals on Wheels service. Our transit services have been able to provide 38,000 safe and reliable rides to those in need in throughout the rural parts of DeKalb County.
The past support we've received has helped VAC continue to provide our vital services to those who need it most. As VAC is challenged with a 30% increase in food cost and a 100% increase in fuel cost, we are counting on our donors more than ever to help keep nutrition and transit services available to our community. With these challenges, every dollar counts and no donation is too small to make a difference.
