2025 Meals on Wheels "Walk to End the Wait" Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser

Join us for the VAC of Northern Illinois Walk-a-Thon, which will support Meals on Wheels, on Saturday, June 21st, at Sycamore Lake Rotary Park (400 N Cross St, Sycamore, IL).

This uplifting community event brings together families, friends, and local champions for a day of walking, wellness, and giving back. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support the continued delivery of nutritious meals and friendly visits to homebound seniors across our region. The morning kicks off at 9:15 AM with a welcome from our team and guest speakers passionate about Meals on Wheels' impact.

Walkers will enjoy a scenic route around the lake, interactive mile markers, and music throughout the park. After the walk, stick around for snacks, a photo booth, and family-friendly activities.
