Tom F. Zucker Memorial Virtual Golf Outing

Voluntary Action Center has taken our annual Tom F. Zucker Memorial Golf Outing virtual! We made it easier than ever this year to participate in our golf outing with options of individual play and foursome scramble games. To end our golfing, we will have a Pickup Drive-Thru Dinner catered by Tom & Jerry's of Sycamore as well as a 50/50 raffle on September 25th! The pickup dinner will be at VAC's main location in Sycamore at 1606 Bethany Rd. Choose between a Chicken Dinner, or a Pork Chop sandwich. Both meals come with baked beans, coleslaw, a roll w/ butter, and to top it off- a cookie courtesy of Premier Catering!

Golf anytime between September 1st and September 23rd at your local golf course, and submit your score card to ttallitsch@vacdk.org, or fax it to 815-758-0202. All participants will be asked to provide the course name they're playing at, the slope rating of the course, and the final score the player receives. If you're wondering what the slope rating is, it is a number that is proportionate to the difficulty of the course. All of these scores and ratings will be calculated into fair winners of each category of individual golfers and foursome teams. All score cards must be emailed or faxed by September 23rd to be eligible for winnings. Each winner of individual categories will win a $100 prize, and foursome players will win a $200 prize! To make things even more fun, there's even a $100 prize for the golfer from farthest away from Sycamore.

We will be celebrating the end of our golf outing with a Pickup Drive-Thru Dinner at VAC! Our pickup dinner tickets are open to the whole family, and you do not have to be a golfer to attend! You and your family can come pick up a meal catered by Tom & Jerry's of Sycamore and enter the 50/50 raffle if you haven't already online. The dinner pickup is completely optional, and you can choose to purchase tickets without a meal. The dinner location is VAC's main building at 1606 Bethany Rd. in Sycamore. Remember to wear your mask!

Raffle winners will be announced around 7:30 pm on September 25th via Facebook live on our Voluntary Action Center of Northern Illinois page. Join our Golf Outing group on Facebook to share your golfing photos, videos, and messages! VAC will be posting our own content as well!

Our annual golf outings are in honor of Voluntary Action Center's late Executive Director, Tom Zucker. We are so thankful for the path he paved for VAC and the opportunity to involve his family each year. Thank you to the Zuckers who continue to help make this event amazing.
